Goodwood Revival 2011 Sold Out
We always say the Goodwood Festival of Speed is just about the best event of the year; diverse, interesting and fun – even for the non-petrolhead. But the Goodwood Revival – which starts tomorrow and goes on over the weekend – is a really fun motoring nostalgia-fest of fun and frolics, costumes and stalls, cars and racing. And on-petrolheads love it even more than the FoS.
While half the country is slogging through snow this time of year, some of you -- like Cadillac -- are prepping for the racetrack. The Cadillac V-Series Academy at Nevada’s Spring Mountain Resort and Country Club is now open to the public. The resort, just outside Las Vegas, has four miles of racetrack and 125 feet of elevation change.
Dave McLellan, who presided as chief engineer for the fourth-generation Chevrolet Corvette, will be a featured guest at parts-seller Mid America Motorworks' annual Corvette Funfest in September. The Funfest brings together 14,000 Corvettes and 45,000 Corvette enthusiasts over a three-day weekend at Mid America's campus in Effingham, Ill. The event includes seminars, entertainment and--of course--plenty of Corvettes.
